The Cathedral Church of Saint Paul, Episcopal
Boston, Massachusetts
This 1820 Greek Revival building is home to two organs: a 1953 Aeolian-Skinner in need of restoration, and a 1977 Andover. Meetings and survey work were geared to help determine the extent to which elements of the organ require restoration or engineering reconfiguration to best suit present-day needs. (An additional pleasure was being able to return to the two organs that first sparked an interest in the pipe organ at age eleven.) |
