First Presbyterian Church
Carbondale, Illinois
Built in 1906, this church was originally furnished with a small Hook & Hastings organ, several ranks of which were incorporated into a new Aeolian-Skinner in 1953. For an upcoming renovation, the church desires a re-consideration of both chancel and organ, addressing subsequent changes and additions and re-thinking the organ's visual appearance. A site survey, meetings and a report addressed the many questions raised. |
