Casavant Op. 3033, 1969; two manuals, 30 ranks

A cleaning-and-revoicing project completed with Jeff Weiler in the summer of 2001. This instrument is entirely unenclosed, speaking on pressures of two and two-and-a-half inches. After washing and cleaning, all flue pipes were revoiced in a style closer in spirit to the pre-Phelps era of the Casavant tradition. The former effect, characterized by exaggerated articulation and aggressive tone, has been replaced by more relaxed speech and mellower, fuller tone. No pipes were replaced or re-scaled. Reed pipes were cleaned and regulated.
