Holy Trinity Church, Coventry
Leicestershire, Great Britain
This medieval church currently houses an ill-rebuilt 19th-century organ no longer of historic value. Keen to commission a dynamic new mechanical-action instrument from an American builder, the church requested a five-city tour to inspect a select group of new organs. Familiarity with the current scene, as well as occasional involvement in the tonal finishing of newer instruments, permitted a comprehensive itinerary to instruments in Houston, Claremont, Seattle and Minneapolis. |
